Skunk2 has been designing custom headers for our drag race, road race, and endurance racing cars for many years. It was our goal to be able to offer the same custom racing headers we use on our cars to enthusiasts at a good value, and without compromising quality. Though it has taken many years, by combining cutting edge design, manufacturing technology, and craftsmanship, we believe we have created the finest production headers in the market. The Skunk2 K-Swap megapower header is the ultimate header for K-series engine swaps into EF, EG, EK, DA, and DC2 chassis. The header design is based on the headers we have designed for the Honda K-Series powered vehicles racing in the Grand-Am Cup endurance racing series.

Design
The Skunk2 K-Series MegaPower Header is designed and engineered to maximize exhaust flow and increase both horsepower and torque throughout the entire RPM powerband. Our unique design is the result of over a decade of racing experience coupled with computerized modeling and extensive dyno testing. Each Skunk2 MegaPower Header features equal length, sequentially-paired, stepped primaries and a 4-2-1 Tri-Y design with a 2.5 inch collector. These features coupled with our unique design specs provide an extremely broad powerband that can be used on a wide range of engine sizes and configurations. The Skunk2 MegaPower Header features the smallest possible primary tubes required to achieve the best overall and peak power. By minimizing the size of the primary tubes, we are able to maintain the highest possible exhaust gas speeds through the header, which improves the mid-range and throttle response significantly. We believe we have achieved the best top-end power as well as the best mid-range power and throttle response needed to come off of the corners.

Quality
We are confident that when you put the Skunk2 Header side by side with any other production header, you will immediately see the difference in quality; just take a close look at the finish, the consistency and color of the welds, as well as the fitment of the part and the completeness of the kit. Skunk2 headers are welded AFTER poilishing so users can see the quality and color of the welds. Some manufacturers polish their welds as a way to disguise the bad welding and the oxidation that results from improper welding temperatures and poor gas shielding. Skunk2 headers are back purged and welded by expert craftsmen, this is evident by the evenly spaced light gold colored welds with slight blue highlights. Each header is constructed from T-304 stainless steel with fully polished, mandrel-bent tubing and a CNC-machined flange for added strength and durability.

Fitment
The fitment of the Skunk2 K-Series Megapower header is second-to-none. It offers great oil pan clearance and ground clearance. Unlike other headers, the Skunk2 K-Swap header also does not require the front cross member to be cut or modified. It can fit 88-91 Civic/CRX's, 92-95 Civics, 96-00 Civics, 90-93 Integras, and 94-01 Integras with K-series engine swaps using Hasport or comparable mount kits.
